She will oversee and monitor the Company’s compliance programs and controls.

Alice Everett has 15 years experience in the fields of auditing, accounting, and consulting. In her most recent role, she served as a Director at Sunera Business Consultants where she was responsible for planning, executing and supervising accounting, Sarbanes Oxley and other business projects. Prior to that, she was an Audit Senior Manager with KPMG LLP.

Ms. Everett received her Masters of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Miami. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the State of Florida.

To touch on this, financing for life insurance policies for seniors in the state of Florida is still readily available. Lending restrictions are a little tigher, however financing is available and trust documentation can be properly prepared to create an opportunity for Florida seniors.

On the other side, for premium financed policies that are for sale from Florida seniors it can be a little tougher. The major reason is that Florida is regulated state for life settlements, this means that funders that aren’t licensed in the state cannot purchase policies. Less funders/providers means that they will be cherry picking the best policies of the states. Not all providers will purchase policies that were premium financed.
